Children ‘over the moon’ as Affidea Ireland donates computers to Ballymun East Community Centre After-School Programme

Our Affidea Family was thrilled to donate computer and laptop equipment to Ballymun East Community Centre, catering to children from 15 months to 12-years-old.

Supervisor Amanda McGann said: “We’re beyond grateful to accept Affidea’s generous donation to benefit our After-School Programme, which is hugely popular in the area with thirty children aged from four up to twelve. We’ve had no computers up until now because it’s not within our budget. It’s really important for us to provide a safe, fun and happy environment for our children, so thanks to Affidea our new computer area will keep everyone entertained and educated with online programmes like puzzles, word games and quizzes.”

“Our team is busy getting ready for back to school after our summer camps have just ended, so it couldn’t have come at a better time. The children will be over the moon to see them when they’re all back and I don’t think we’ll be able to keep them away! Thanks again to Affidea for helping our local community by donating to a good cause. We really appreciate it and can’t put into words the difference it will make.”
