Referrer Liaison Administrator (Dublin)
Roles and Responsibilities
The Referrer Liaison Administrator is the first point of contact for our referring doctors. This person will ensure operational effectiveness and efficiency within the department. The Referral Liaison Administrator is responsible for providing professional and flawless administration support to our referring doctors, radiologist and RIS /PAC Office.
1. To answer calls from the dedicated referrer line and be the first point of contact for the referrer.
2. To respond to faxes and emails via the dedicated fax line and e-mail in a timely manner.
3. Respond to any concerns from doctors or their practices efficiently and accurately.
4. Working closely with the Radiologist group to resolve any administration issues.
5. Work closely with the RIS PACS Manager, Medical Director, RSMs and CSM
6. Assuring High priority reports are managed with the referrer to ensure receipt of report and documenting same.
7. Work with the Affidea Client Relationship team and arranging priority reports when requested.
8. Work with the Affidea Appointment department, centre managers , reception staff and clinical staff – managing and answering queries regarding reports, failed fax, priority reports and the referrer data base.
9. Administering and maintaining the Referrers Portal
10. Monitor ALL Affidea failed faxes throughout the day and ensure resolution.
11. Responsible for adding and editing new and existing referrers in the referrer data base.
12. Monitor the radiologist worklist to ensue reporting time is kept within the 48 working hours and requesting additional help if needed.
13. Daily check on the reporting console which includes scans showing at status of Reg, In Progress, reporting in progress and Approved NOT sent – liaise with clinical specialist / centre manager to resolve.
14. Responsible for the REVIEW LIST which includes: No U/S Findings ,/Notify Dr of report/, No Referral Letter’s / Referrals scanned incorrectly,/ Previous Images – internal and external, /Previous reports – internal and external ,/Scans to be assigned for Specialist reporting (prostate, paediatric),/Recalls
15. Handling complaints relating to radiology reports and ensuring the Affidea company complaints procedure is followed.
16. Updating and maintaining the Referrer Log with all relevant entries.
Qualifications
- Leaving Cerificate
- Strong MS Office knowledge (Word, Excel,)
- Fluent English is a must ( Oral & Written )
Experience
2-3 year experience in similar position.
