Waterford Garda Charity Cycle in association with Affidea Ireland

The fourth annual Waterford Garda Charity Cycle, sponsored by Affidea, took place on Saturday with over 150 cyclists travelling either 30 or 70 kilometres in aid of the local branch of MS Ireland.

Garda Liam Doyle said of the event; “It’s not a race, it’s fun! There will always be a competitive aspect with the dozen or 16 who try and beat each other, way beyond my level, but it’s great to get everyone together at Affidea in Ardkeen, then take in the coast and come in by Tramore. All for a good cause.”

Affidea CEO Tom Finn added; “We’re delighted to sponsor this important cycle for local charity as it’s the perfect fit for us as Ireland’s leading medical scan specialist and our motto – Nothing Is More Important Than Health.”
