From Limerick City Centre

Follow R527, R464 and Cratloe Rd
Head northwest on Roches St/R527 toward Anne St.
Turn left onto O’Connell St/R527
Turn right onto Lower Mallow St/R527 – Go through 1 roundabout
Turn right onto Shelbourne Rd Lower/R464
At the roundabout, take the 1st exit and stay on Shelbourne Rd Lower/R464 – Continue to follow R464
Turn left onto Cratloe Rd
Once you arrive at the Moyish Roundabout there is a sign pointing to Limerick Institute of Technology, take this exit into the campus.
After the roundabout, take the first left into the car park with the red and white barrier and use the buzzer beside the barrier (it is marked for Affidea and UPMC) – when you press the buzzer, our reception area will be notified someone is at the barrier( we will speak to you to verify you have an appointment and will let you in)

From Castletroy

Head southwest on Plassey Park Rd toward Lonsdale Rd
Continue on R445 to Limerick
Once you arrive at the Moyish Roundabout there is a sign pointing to Limerick Institute of Technology, take this exit into the campus.

No need for unnecessary travel or to attend a hospital for your MRI Scan. Ask your GP or Consultant for a local referral. Covered under the current GP Direct Access Scheme and VHI Healthcare.

Important information about Cancellations/DNAs

We appreciate plans can change and if for any reason you need to cancel your scan appointment, you must give us 24 hours notice by email. This will allow someone to avail of the slot. If you wish to get a more timely appointment for an MRI in Dublin, our Dublin City Centre Clinic currently has more availability. This is located in Meath Primary Care Centre, Heytesbury Street, Dublin 8. There is on street parking available nearby and it is located within walking distance of public transport. You can preference this clinic with our agents.

Referral volumes are currently very high which is leading to a delay in contacting patients to schedule an appointment. Our staff are working through the referrals as quickly as possible and we appreciate your understanding.
