Note: Irish Life Health members can contact the Health in the Home Nursing team for assistance with treatment options for negative pressure wound therapy (e.g., Vac, Pico, or similar) or post-amputation wound care. Their team will help facilitate a referral for these services.

Do I need a referral?

Patients can self-refer or be referred through their GP or Consultant/Doctor, from the community for their wound management. Subsequent visits are organised by the dressing clinic staff and when necessary, may be directed back to the referrer for further management if concerns arise
